HOW TO CLEAN RELICS????

Ok, Today was my first time metal detecting and found some things. Nothing to great, however I was digging and that is a good thing. My question is, what do I use to clean the relics I find. Today I found a horse shoe, a plow blad, coins, bullets. So, any advice would be great. Thanks again for everyones help. I had a great time today hunting. I had no idea my legs would be so tired. I think I walked 10 miles. Love this hobby!!!!

Cheers

Congrats on the finds Kevin! Tht is great that you were out and digging. As to the cleaning? For coins I use a tumbler. For old crusty items I have seen lots of posts on "electrolysis". I have not tried it but hear good results on it.

No pictures yet, but I will. I am trying to figure out where I can put a display cabinet in my house. Can't just throw the things away I find. Any suggestions on a cabinet?

Cheers
