That is just how it is done..... Cute video Gary.

I had one of those years ago.....but now he has some of his own. Good stuff! HH Randy

Thanks guys....my wife taught him to say old coin. Of course when you hope that he would say it on his own he wouldn't...

Hands down best way I have ever seen!

Thanks msviking. I liked the way he shook the water off afterwards...

Conventional 'wisdom' in coil dealer circles say never clean coins!
Especially if a rare one is in question.
It's OK to wash off mud and dirt but the excess "polishing" done to coins can significantly lower any selling value?
Thru the years I've found electrolysis the best way, especially cleaning silver and NEVER clean mixed metal coinage at the same time...

Thanks Des, I'll let my son know...
If only you had been around to advise me not to use the tumbler to clean my 1793 Liberty Cap cent...
:poke:

GKMan, I have been following your posts for quite some time.

I am always amazed with your finds and knowledge.

However, this was by far your best post, family is what life is all about.

Thanks for sharing!

Aw shucks...thanks guys!

Very nice Gary, he is hooked already. It sure makes me feel old at 46, three daughters, youngest is 16.
Well done
Jon
