When you put a coil on do you just hand tit or little more with pliers

Just hand tight. The coil bolt is plastic, and overtightening will only cause it to break.

I think you mean "tight" LOL. One time I noticed mine had come unscrewed. It is not easy to get it tight with just your fingers. I used a pair of pliers and VERY GENTLY tightened it. Be careful so you do not damage it. I would not even squeeze it with the pliers very much. It's a good idea to check it before you go in the water.

Since I had a problem with the box connections (settled by Garret Spain in warranty) not disconnect any connection of the coil or the audio. So everything, always check the hand tighten.
Best Regards

Yeah hand tight, I seem to always be checking those fittings just because...that Oring keeps things quite snug though...
