How small???

A silver initial heart-- flat and super thin. I thought it was a sequin from a garment. the picture is blurry and the color is off, but thats a US Lincoln penny beside it. It's way thinner than the penny. It has an initial on each side and says sterling on one too. it has a little weight to it to know its metal.

4+ inches in the sand under swings where the studs and junk pop off. it was a little low reading, but i dig all sand/ totlot signals.

You are right Nancy-- amazing what a MXT can find.....

Good going! It's amazing how small of items the MXT will pick out of the ground.........and sound good also. That's so cool that it's silver also. Great little charm or to put on an ankle bracelet. :detecting: HH, Nancy

I used the mxt with the sef 8x6 coil to search some of our ancient sites in the uk.Some of the stuff I was pulling out of the ground was ridiculously small showing what a sensitive machine the mxt is.Great machine.

I agree whole- heartedly Neil. its sensitive set right. i used the regular standard 950 for this. i have a 5.3 and a 6x10. they all work great but i am fond of the 5.3 for my trashy area. i am studying the sef some. curious on it and the excellerator 5 inch.
