how slow is slow?

ok alot of ppl say when u swing the quattro swing it very slow. great how slow is that? a 1 foot swing distance to the left in 10 minutes, 5 minutes or what? just "slow" could mean anything

Redsumitt, I got mine out in the yard and counted about 5 seconds from right to left (close to 180 degrees). Works for me..Larry (The Palm Bay Pirate)

How slow you ask ? Try this example and you will find out how slow you need to swing . Place a penny , nickle, dime , and quarter on the ground . Make sure they are about 8 inchs apart and all in line with each other . Swing your Quattro over them in one sweep . If your detector ID shows each number for each coin . Then you know how slow to swing . If it doesn't ,you've swung to fast so then you need to go slower . Im sure you know or have herd that Quattro has a slow recovery speed from target to target . It takes a little getting use to but over time and practice your Quattro will surprise you . By the way you could modify this example I gave you to best suit your prefered speed . thanx ill have 2 do that. but first i think im gonna have 2 send quattro in to get it looked at. but i still got my wifes x30 so ill still be able 2 go out md'ing. was out w/ it yesterday and man for the 1st time in a long time i had a ball. actually found some cool stuff for relics AND some coins. clad' but more that i usually find, and some kind of what is that man? i still think its from an alien ship.

Was at the beach and counted the time it took to swing the coil almost 180 dedrees....2 seconds from side to side..no pictures but dug 18 bottlecaps, 3 cans, 2 pop tops and 2 dimes /5 pennies..Larry (the Palm Bay Pirate)
