Hi guys , I was wondering what a good price is for a good clean coinsearch coil would be. The coil it self is very clean , the cover is scrapped up a little and dirty but can be cleaned up. Thanks for any info. GS

Not very many people letting go of sov coils lately. So id say how bad do u need or want it? Thou it may not be new it sound like it in fairly good condition. 50% of new price likely wont happen unless they just need the money. Id ask 60 to 65% and most people would jump. Im sure one of the dealers have them new..... but they are going to get hard to find new, used or otherwise. Im guessing new they are $230 ish. Rarely do i see them even on free-bay

I bought an 8 inch coinsearch coil several years ago that looked unused With cover, it was about $125 plus shipping.
I felt that I had gotten a good deal.

Realistic price is around $100 or less for a nice 8 inch coinsearch coil, one that is new around $125 and dealer cost was around $90 if I remember right. Now as you know the 8 inch coinsearch was one of the best coils Minelab made, but was not waterproof which was a drawback and were last used on the XS Sovereign as the XS2 had the open waterproof coil. The 8 inch coinsearch is the coil I highly recommend for those learning the Sovereign as the signals seem to be easier to hear.
Been a while since I bought any as they are hard to find anymore, but I used to buy them for $50 to $65 and resell them to people that were new to the Sovereigns, but now that they are harder to find I am sure you can get more for one if someone really wants one. I still have one myself as I keep it for the times I need a smaller coil and found this is the smallest coil I need for my hunting, but I haven't used it hardly at all since I got a GT with the 10 inch Tornado coil as it does well for me, much better then the older 10 inch BBS coils.

Maybe instead of a fix price on the classifieds, put it on Ebay at an auction, with the lowest start price you could except.Good Luck Ron
