How much null?

Gilligan110

Typically when I'm swinging in an area I'll slow down significantly when I hit iron so that I'm minimizing the null. Roughly how much null do you get when you turn over to TTF or some other more successful setup when in iron? 50% of the sweep? Until the null drives you nuts? Run through the area with a lot of null first then repeat with TTF?

Thanks!

It wont matter which settings you have , it will only nul if you have any discrimination , only a blank screen will avoid it . Only a machine with a threshold tone will tell you when you are nulling , a silent runner wont and you wont know if you have disc on .

Thanks for the reply Nuke me. I'm just curious how quickly others flip out of multi-tone conductive. I've been jumping to TTF after my swings go to null about 30% of the time. Overa couple of minutes. Just wondering if I jumping over too soon.

TTF is only any good if you are using a clear screen , high tones are non ferrous and low tones are ferrous .
Its the same with any program really . Its a pain but you have to learn the tones and maybe dig all :( and use numbers as a back up.
