HOW MUCH IS A CZ5 WORTH

Depending on the machine in question, I would say somewhere around $400 to $500. If it's in perfect shape maybe $500 or so. If it's in fair shape, maybe $300-400.

This one went for $406:

The newer CZ5s with the ones with the plastic arm cuff black coil and black rod asm around 500.00 in good condition. The older units around 400.00 dollars.

although the prices for CZ5's are definitely coming back up a little since they aren't making them anymore and they are getting fewer in the marketplace. Me personnally, I would gladly pay $450.00-500.00 for a great condition CZ5 if one of mine went down for the count. I still think it's one of the best machines ever.

6 months or so. The problem with ebay is, You can list a detector on there for sale one time and not get any bids, but then you can list the same detector a week later and it sells for well over what you wanted for it.

The best way to sell on ebay is to list your item for a buck and take the gamble, BUT sometimes you win and sometimes you lose BIG TIME. That's why I'm not a big ebay seller I don't like to gamble.

Mike the CZ5 sold at 530.00 Ebay has it's disadvantages but overall its a good way to sell and buy.

Yes, I've had great luck selling detectors on eBay. I've bought and sold quite a bit on eBay over the years. Not as many as some, but I'm about to "turn 100" and get my Turquoise star! [attachment 51573 stars-7.gif] :super:

I think the CZ5 is a good seller, probably better than the CZ3D.The Whites XL Pro and the Eagle 2 are a some of the units that can sell for a premium price.

Wow......sell a CZ-5 for what I paid for it back in '95. About $530.00.. Man I got some serious hours on it. Still works as good as the day I bought it. But have a 3d now also. Yeah, I'll admit it's better....
