I've used normal since I've owned my SE but have tried all the different ones in my test bed. Just curious how many out there use long, smooth and pitch hold responses.

Well, I tried long, smooth and pitch hold today for the first time and went back to normal after only about 5 min. Not patient enough to take the time to learn those sounds. It was way too different than normal for me.
BTW, had my best ever silver day. I bagged four Mercs and a my first ever Barber!!!

Rick ive used pitch hold when out in AZ gold hunting. Ive not tried it in trashy areas... how does it work there? Now i do use long in trashy areas when i know there might be silver in the area and i have to really slow down to seperate the sounds.
