I have the new XS II and didnt seem to have the depth my XS has, so I put on the Sunray X8 coil to try it and being it run so smooth and I have a hearing problem I decied to help hear the targets i would try audio one. A pultabs sounds like you hit a barrel as it is a big signal. I get the first signal I thought had the posibilty of a deep coins, but sounded real good while the crosshairs bounced around on top, but seem to want to go to the top left more. I went to pinpoint and no signal, tried it several times and no signal in pinpoint, but decent in disc, so i had to pinpoint in disc and went for it. After digging the hole and using the X1 probe I found a small nail at 10 inches, Next signal was real good in disc and when I went to pinpoint it was weak and the depth meter showed deep, when dug was a 1919 and a 1925D wheatie in the same hole at 10 inches. Next signal was a good signal in disc, but the crosshair were not quite top right, but good enough to check out as the depth meter showed on the bottom of the gauge and this one too i could not get a signal in pinpoint, so i pinpointed in disc and dug and dug and with the help of the X1 found a jar lid the size of a silver dollar at 16 inched down. If I hadnt dug it myself i would have a hard time beleiving it.
This audio one realy makes a differnce in a cleaner area, had tried it before in a park and it drove me nuts with the tones. The site I was at for the 45 minnutes was my daughter yard along her hedge she trimmed so I could get closer. I used the Elite there last week and got 2 IH and 6 wheaties and a silver ring and went over this area twice with the Elite and just wanted to see what the new XS II would do with the X8 coil, and to see if maybe my stock coil was bad as i wasnt getting any depth, but found out my X8 with the audio one sure got the depth in disc more than in pinpoint and easier to hear the signals than normal. I dont feel I can run audio one in trashy sites though.
Also wondering if anyone else has notice this with audio one?
Rick

I have been hunting in audio 1 for awhile now and can really tell the difference with the coin tones. It did take awhile to get used to. I really haven't had a reason to go back to normal. It seems to me that trashy signals are more cut off at the end of each tone they make, and coin signals seem to kinda flowtogether. Like I said it did take me awhile to get used to the fluty tones but after awhile the coin signals really stand out.
Take care HH

That some of the signals in disc you cant pinpoint in all metal pinpoint? seem the audio 1 will give you a better signal.
I have tried it before and wasnt that impressed with it in some of my parks, but that could be it was too trashy and all signals were combinding into one.
Good Luck.

I USE AUDIO ONE ALL THE TIME RICK THAT SEEMS THE BEST FOR ME.

And have really not found targets to deep to pinpoint. If I am understanding yur question correctly. I mostly hunt in I/M -12 I know usaully if a target is hard to pinpoint I will pass it up I have dug them and seems it is nails ect.ect. But thats why you can go behind me and dig goodies too..
We are planning a road trip to Fargo to see family we should get together.
