How many Texans? In DFW?

I know there are a few..I've seen enough posts about Texas to wonder who my competition is..er..uh, I mean FRIENDS are! LOL! :detecting: I'm in the DFW area, how many from here as well? The rest of Texas?

Well, I live at Bonham Tx. I figure you know where that is, it's prob. about 80-90 miles north east from Dallas.
Used to live near McKinney.

Is that a trick question? How many Texans live in DFW area? Iffen you live there, ALL of you are Texans, right?

Anyhow, I'm living in Valliant, Ok by the Red River, bout as near being a Texan as you can get without being one.
I go to DFW every now and then but mostly to Paris, Texas.

Anyone wanting a hunting partner now and then, I'm like the old "Paladin" western series - "Have Detector - Will Travel"

P.S. I'm an old codger, so no hill climbing or anything too strenuous!

Let's do that!

Highlander, I'm quite familiar with Bonham! My father in law lives there and was deputy sheriff of Fannin county for a number of years. Sadly, he's not much help in finding me some old houses to detect...he's just one of those folks that finds the idea of asking people for access to be too intimidating I guess. There are a few dilapidated houses I saw last weekend when we went camping at Bonham State Park (outside the park).

RG..you funny guy! My wording was a bit confusing...HOWEVER, it could still be a valid question though. Most folks I know in DFW aren't actually TEXANS! LOL! I'll PM my email info to y'all!

Well I'm about 10 minutes from Okla, and I was born in Okla. so I'm not a Texan although I've lived around here all my life.
There's a neat city recreation area with camping at Lake Bonham.

I was born and raised in Houston. My wife and I are full time RVers and travel all over the country visitin', prospectin' and treasure huntin'. We are probably in Texas about six months out of the year in broken increments. We have some land in west Texas and spend some time there, too. My brother lives just east of Dallas and we visit him periodically. We still need to see the Garret Museum in Garland since they've expanded it. Haven't been there in years. Love to hook up and do some dirt fishin' next time we're in the area. It's always great to do some huntin' with fellow detectorists. Happy Hunting!

I'm in the big H.. But I'm a part time Okie too.. I have some land up near
Lake Eufaula. That's my get-away place when I want to live in the woods
a while. Too much cement city causes brain damage.. :(
I go through big D on the way to my OK place.. I usually don 't stop though..
It's a cement city too.. :( That's what I'm trying to escape from.. :stars:
I usually refill the tank and the coffee near Anna TX, which is a bit north
of big D.
I was born in Dallas, so I guess I'd have to be considered Texan
when it comes down to it.
When I'm in OK, I imagine most tolerate me cuz I'm not a yankee, :lmfao:
but they probably consider me a "Sears" okie, not a "Real
