too many regulations on liquor here years back. In fact, Alberta had rules that ladies could not enter a bar unescorted and there were two entrances, Men Only and Ladies and Escorts. There was a line across the bar floor, one side men only the other for ladies and escorts. They only changed that in the 60's:blink:
 
In Windsor Ontario. We went smelt dipping every spring at Point Pelee on lake Erie. I remember stopping at a bar and like you said, two doors and they were labled like you said. I had never seen it before
