I have two of the Plugger's straight rods...... I like the extra light weight of them and the straight rod too of course. the adjust ability of the handle is great too. I started just changing out the control heads to use the straight rods. If you have any kind of arm/wrist pain after detecting all day I highly recommend you try one out.
