How many have the new F70 and are using it?

Since I don't have the F70 yet, does the new Fishers like iron as much as the old Fishers did? That is the only thing I really didn't like about the old Fishers. Well and the weight of their coils, kind of like Minelab, a little heavy.

The machine is still new. Give them time. I think a lot of people are
waiting to see what everybody else does! In a few months we'll see
more people posting reviews.

I have one and really like it. I also have a F75 and may actually sell it since receiving the F70. The F70 seems to be easier to setup(less adjustments) but operates at almost the same level. I really like the concentric coil also....Just my 2 cents.

I have had my F70 for about two months. I like it a lot. I have not hunted any old sites with it yet. Sure is deep.......Jack

Got mine yesterday, been playing with it the last two days. So far so good.

Its DEEP, FAST, ACCURATE and actually a pleasure to use when you set the sensitivity level accordingly to the area being detected.

I started in the default mode and went to the most littered spot on the planet. After about 1/2 hour I started reducing the sens to see how it behaves and I was able to run it at a sens level of 5 (five) and still got great depth with a smooth running detector. I buried coins in holes I had dug to see how good I was able to detect a newly buried coin and it was effortless and any setting. The sens setting of 5 gave me approx 5 inches of depth capability on a newly buried quarter.

Other spots allowed me to run almost MAX sens with an occasional chirp or two.

Havent dug this deep or this much in a long time, it felt good.

SO far sooooo good.

Good report Tony.. thanks!

I like it when a detector hits well even with the sensitivity turned down like that. In the past it seemed only the better relic machines had that kind of sensitivity when set to minimum.

The F-75 is programmable but so easy to set up its almost like an analog detector with knobs.
And the F-70 not having a manual ground balance is a big minus. You better hope they update that
in the future with a new chip, because being at the beach requires a manual balance.
The Stat Mode on the F-75 will hit coins the motion modes won't even give a whisper on. The F-70 was
never mean to compete with the top detectors, but those in the mid price range. However I think people
are finding it to be a better detector than some that cost a couple of hundred more.
Make sure you try the 11"DD on it and see how it does. Mr Bill said at the slowest, it seemed to have more
depth because it had more time to analyze, and if you have some wide open areas, or hunt relics,
it should be a killer loop because of the ground covered.:detecting:
