Can any body tel me what the length is from the arm rest to the coil. I am 6' 6" tall I believe I am going to have to buy a carbon fiber lower rod to replace the minilab rod so it does not wobble on me.Thank you for your help..

I took some measurements…
From the arm cuff to the end of the lower shaft is about 55”.
This is with the lower shaft adjusted at its max length. Let me know if you need more measurements.

Interesting...I am thinking of a compact shaft as gas prices keep going up. That way I could ride my Harley...

I think the length thing has been addressed, so I will give you my 2 cents for what it's worth. I too am 6', 6" which can pose some challenges in metal detecting. I got frustrated with the standard rod that came with my Nox 800 because of wobble and getting water/sand in it. I finally called Steve at Steve's Detector Rods. He is super helpful and put me on his uncut carbon fiber lower rod length along with the other necessary rod and parts. I am really happy being able to extend out as long as I want with no wobble at all. Give him a call and I'm sure you won't regret it!
