A scaled back version of the CTX. Kinda like a Safari to an E- Trac. Yes it should be waterproof. The market is in need of a mid line full featured waterproof multi frequency machine.

yes it is BUT they make more money with their current line up. But ya never know, if enough people contact them regarding that.

Well they can take away the GPS and Target trace. Hell we can even toss out the smart find 2 and they could give us some new kind of simple meter system.
I guess something in the same waterproof housing with the same number of frequencies.
They took the FBS of the Explorer and E-Trac and gave us the Safari. Perhaps I should be asking this in the Safari forum.

I thought the same thing. I don't need GPS or a water machine, for that matter. Still, I took the plunge and am glad of it. Best coin machine I've ever used.

They probably already thought of that and decided just to go with this CTX 3030 lineup and see what happens. You may be able to find a used one a decent price you just never know.
