How long ago was the CZ-6a discontinued? Thanks.

Would call Fisher to confirm but pretty close OldeTymer and the CZ5 was kept on as it had an outside speaker and cheaper to produce than the weather resistant CZ6A...On the upside they are like the energizer rabbit and run and run with no problems for the majority of units..If you have an early one some claim a tuneup will do wonders for it if you feel your loosing depth or stability over the years..From my experience have heard of sticking meters in one now and then and also a possible leak if used in a pouring rain as they are not waterproof just water and weather resistant...
