How is the dx 1 with the v3i

How is the dx 1 with the v3i I understand there are compatibility issues I see the tech specs but kinda well really don't understand it .Will someone put into simple terms will it work or won't it and when will it won't .
 
I have used the DX-1 with no problems.

It works fine. I won't do TXboost but I never use it. I also like to run my all metal 70 - 75 for better depth with the DX1. Rob
