How is the best way of Ground Balance the MXT ?

You're correct reconj. Pages 28 and 29 of "The MXT Edge" give detailed, simple directions on not only how to correctly ground balance your MXT but also how to determine if the discriminate audio mode is running stable. These two pages alone are worth the price of the book many times over IMHO. Definitely, get the book. Good luck.

Mxt Edge is a great book, not only for the MXT, but for metal detecting in general. If you can buy it don't miss it

basically the best way to ground balance the MXT is to find a clear spot free of metal and pumping the coil up and down until you hear a sleight or not variation on threshold.

Hello,
The MXT samples for ground balance about every 1/4 second so if you put it to the ground and swing the coil, by the end of the swing it has balanced itself. Try it, it works very well. Just one of the things that makes the MXT such a good machine.
