How I have my CTX set-up to run. Video guide.

Here's a step by step video to set your CTX up like I have mine. I've taken Gonehunting's settings and mashed them with Bill S' "trashy park" pattern with some modifications made to it. Works great. Hope some of you like it too.

To help with setting up the pattern I took a screen shot since I realized how bad the image quality on the video was. Use this picture to help set it up.

Thanks for posting this Ronfin! This will hopefully help me with this old parks that have been hopelessly littered by homeless folks.

Would it be possible for you to post more exact coordinates of the accept areas of the trashy park program?

Thanks!

Mike

Going to try the trash program:twodetecting::minelab::thumbup:

Thanks Ron. That should work great. I still like an open screen as I like to know what I am dealing with under the surface.

Now if a guy could figure out how to do that when you go noodling that would be the ticket! lol

:twodetecting::thumbup:Ron put the Trash program in went out to my old Park that dates back to 1880 and went to one of the shelter where I new there was alot of trash got three coin Two wheat a 40 and 46 and a 1881 Indian in all the trash by a big old tree.

Nice job Tim! Soon as I get home from work I'll go over the Fe-Co numbers to block and open a little more in-depth, and probably remake the video since I ended it abruptly.

Thanks Ron, nice job on the video.

Thanks! I really could use some help in trashy old parks.

Also would like to add credit to Larry. Some of his original work on the pattern GH and I have used to some degree was inspired by him. :)

After watching the first video I made I decided to make another to show the final process that I missed in the first one. This one is better. Right to the point.

OK, here's the Trashy Park Modified Combine mode I run with a LOT of success. Let me know how ya make out with it!

Just wanted to say thank you for your post....put your numbers in my ctx 3030 and am using a basically open screen.....it works well and the only fault I can see in it is the deep holes that are dug.....lol. I found a 1908 barber dime today in a large open school playground that has been hit hard....it was only about 5the inches deep but sang like it was laying on top of the ground....thank you again.....the new guy

Sweet finds, and thanks for the comment. I can't take credit for this entire mode. It's been a community effort, and I've taken bits and pieces from others works to make this. We're very lucky that there are so many dedicated individuals that visit [here] that contribute their hard work. Keep up the great finds! Looking forward to seeing more. -Ron

Thanks, They have the trashiest parks in Philadelphia, based on the discrimination pattern and your explanation of how to do the settings on the CTX I am very confident that my success rate will increase. Nice Job and thanks for all the time you put in to help others.
