How good is the tone of the Scorp and it's target separation?

I was wondering how much faster the Scorp's recovery speed is compared to the Ace and also how easily is it to tell coins from other targets with it? The reason I ask is because I just watched an instructional video on the Scorp, that was done by Garrett's and notched that the edges of the tones were different on each target. I also noticed how different the tone was when in the all metal mode. Have you noticed these differences, plus other differences that I my not know about?
thanks.
Mick Evans.

Been a couple years since I had a Ace, just can't remember too well, anyway, seems right quick and good on separating, the tone is a single tone, that you learn the differences in how hard or fast it comes on at different targets, usually a coin, (most coins anyway) will come on with a Hard Beep-sudden or sharp and usually different other targets will come in not as harsh or sudden, maybe staticky, It's just a thing that you have to pick up on, just like all other single tone detectors, ya just gotta be there I guess.
But bottom line is I really like the Scorpions, I think better than any of the detectors Iv'e had since 1975, Just a personal, or Geezer thing I guess, but I only been usin Scorpions for couple years or so now=And I think theyr'e dandy:garrett:
