How good is the pro pointer at detecting foil

I am wondering because the pistol probe is silent on most foil, even if my detector picks it up so i need somthing that will sound off on foil

From my experience the propointer makes a noise and vibrates on all metals that aren't too small and within its detecting range.

it hit foil it has hit all metal that my detector hit on i love my pro pointer

I've had both; still have propointer. The propointer is best by far. If you feel that the propointer isn't deep enough, it can be super tuned. Most don't do this and I don't do it often.

I use to have one but forgot and it is a good pointer , i got the pistol because it was deeper but it just cant home in on the foil and this foils my aks so i was thinking to get a pro pointer again plus it built like a tank

super tuned???? How is that done?

I have and use two PPs. I can't imagine detecting without having the PP there.
