how does the deleon perform with the 12x10 coil or the 10.5" concentric coil?

i've probably asked this before but i've never tried a 12 x 10 coil on a deleon and was currious if any of you tried it and what kind of performance it got and how bad does it hinder the digital readout?

I read a post where someone mentioned their DeLeon chattered with the 9X12, probably a GB issue. I tried mine in my yard and had mild chatter, but haven't tried it any where else. I've never tried the 10.5 on the Deleon, but it's worked well on my other Tesoros.

I use a 12x10 spider coil on my Silver and it added coverage and depth. The Deleon should be deeper and with TID could get you where you need to be. Havent used 10.5 but it is heavier and thats why Tesoro mfgs. the spider coil. Lighter and more coverage and it looks good. I have no trouble PP with it. I have a cover for mine and I cant really feel any weight difference. Pros and cons but Im protecting my investment.

i had a silver a couple of years back with the 12 x 10 and was kick ass set up but i 've read that with the cortes that this does'nt do so hot throws the TID off i just figuired the 10'5 a little smaller and concentric it might be a better combo?

For what it's worth, the Umax CSC works fine on my DeLeon, if you're looking for more coverage.

Don't know how the D performs with the 12x10 or the 10.5 coils, but it sure works nice with the stock 9x8! Took my new D out for a tot lot hunt tonight after dinner and it found me 5 nickles! I have never found that many nickles in a single hunt before with my Cib. (Also got 3 Q, 10D, 19P, and I am getting the hang of the trash-noises).

i honestly think the lower freq does help, some people may argue with me about this but i believe 10 khz is one of the best all around freq and i noticed something when i owned my fisher stuff my 1236x2 being at 5khz would find older silver than any other machine i owend maybe thats why the cz3d is touted to find the older coin?
