How does the CTX 3030 compare to......

Diggin-it

New member
I would like to hear from dedicated Excal owners that took the plunge and picked up the 3030. I have a CZ-21 and a couple AT-Pro's that I use right now for shallow Fresh water detecting. I was all set to buy an Excal and then I see this new 3030, and its shallow submersible so it got my attention.

I would really like to know how it performs in shallow water against the Excal? I called a few dealers and they did not have any feedback yet comparing it against the Excal in shallow water.

I'm hoping this 3030 could be the detector to replace all my other detectors, and if it is atleast comparable in shallow water to an Excal then I'm sold!

Might be to early to tell, but after this Holiday weekend maybe someone will be able to share their water hunting experience with the 3030.....

Happy Memorial Day everyone!
