How does the 11X8 DD coil compare to the 9X8 concentric?

Was curious if any of you have used both the 11X8 DD coil and how it compares to the 9X8 concentric? Wanting to get a new coil for my silver sabre umax and I know how well I like the 9X8 but was wondering how well the 11X8 new DD one does. Thanks in advanced.

I don't have the 11x8 in a 5 pin, but my bet would be that it doesn't discriminate or pinpoint as well as the concentric. Where do you plan on using it?

I hunt old house sites and all. I am not really as concerned with the pinpointing in it as I do the toe heel thing with DD coils. Do you have a 4 pin version on another unit like cibola or vaquero?? Separation on Tesoro units are already pretty darn good. I was just wondering if anyone has noticed a big difference

I was pleasantly surprised and from reading your post, I know that you are going to be too.. The RSD will change a lot of people's mind. The tides of a paradigm will unravel a new understanding when hunting trash riddled ground with a greater cushion of air between coil & ground. I just wish they'll pair it up with a compadre. It would be a stones throw from a riot.

Edited because I cannot spell correctly. too and to always gets me............

Glad it's working well on your Deleon! I use the 4 pin version on my Tejon, and it's OK for sensitivity and depth, but not consistent for discrimination. It is easier to use in mineralized soil than the concentric, though.
