I know that the Explorer is multi-frequency, but how do those frequencies work? Are they broadcast and received simultaneously? I have read that the machine works with a pulsed signal. Is this true or is the signal constant?
I love the machine, but I am one of those guys that cannot rest until I understand something.

Remember I drive my car everyday and have limited knowledge how it works. I guess we are all different but just call Minelab U.S.A and talk to a tech or their Customer Service manager Sandy Burton as she is a wealth of info and has many years of experience..
