How does an XP Deus compare?

Have any of you experienced Minelab users also put in enough hours on a Deus to know it's capabilities? I do believe the fact that they process faster but what about depth?
Can it come close to the Minelabs in the area of depth? I've heard lots of good things about them but would like to find out some things before I buy.

I was a MineLab user. I absolutely love the E-trac and hope they come out with an E-trac II.

I now own a Deus after trading my CTX. I hit very deep coins. I was over an area that my brother-in-law and I had pound several times (due to the number of coins we had dug from it) with his White, his E-trac, my E-trac and my CTX. The Deus picked up a very deep, super nice Buffalo nice that those machines had missed. That area was very small so I know we had passed our coils over it before.

I hit a very deep large center at the base of tree that my brother-in-law missed with his E-trac just 2 weekends ago. I also picked some nice targets out the trashy backyard of the same home due to the speed and ability of the Deus to "hook" onto good signals. It is more programmable than the mine lab machines so you can easily program yourself out finding stuff if you don't know what you are doing.
