how do I do a reset on the impact....I just uploaded the new software so I would think that wipes all of my programs out and does a reset. Do resets also reset the machine to the first software when the impact was released..

something to contend with whenever you do a software upgrade. You would presume that an 'upgrade' (the most recent one) would already have the software settings as they would be for the former upgrade so the new upload will simply restore the factory defaults, as they should be up-to-date plus add the new feature/function changes.

So it's as simple as 'upload' all the current factory (aka default) settings for an unmodified Impact, then refer to your preferred personal settings (that you should have written down in a paper-file log book or on your computer) and walk through each mode/program and adjust each available adjustment setting as you prefer.

Then get out detecting, of course.
