How do you tell the difference in the 10.5 coils?

Bill_S

Well-known member
Any way to tell on the 10.5 spider coils what detector they are for? (Coinstrike, cz3d, etc.) Is there a number or anything on the coil to tell? Thanks.

I believe the CZ coils are marked Fisher M Scope and have Quicksilver on them, the Coinstrike coil is marked Coinstrike.

The Quicksilver coil can be used on any CZ except the CZ6 ( which you will know since the connector is a different pin configuration so it will not fit).

The pin configuration on the CZ and Coinstrike coils may be the same and if you put a CZ coil on the C$, I think the Coinstrike will not turn on if the coil is not the proper one. I think I did that once !!

Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
