How do you protect your Etrac screen/buttons from wear or scratches?

With all the ipads out there I was wondering if putting one of those self adhesive screen protectors would be beneficial to the Etrac? Either that or one of the covers I see offered? What do you use?

This question is an easy one. There is only one product to use that is worth every penny. With this product you can put it on an Etrac screen that has fine scratches that look terrible and after applying it the screen will litterally look perfect.

Type in your Google search engine z-a-g-g without the dashes. You can buy it pre-cut for the Etrac. You will never regret it.

My last etrac was three yrs old and I average hunting 20 hours a week, never used a cover and my screen had no scratches and buttons were fine, and I NEVER clean mine, well maybe once a year lol

I had a unit cover but glare was crazy so i cut the screen off and placed a no glare ipad cover over the screen on the etrac
but when u cut screen the cover wants to slide off and i places velco to my unit so the cover stays on.

I used a Zagg cover. In the winter and spring when it got wet and muddy i had a cover on the machine.

Jeff in PA has the correct Idea and they cover the whole screen. I have had one on my E-Trac for 5.5 years (and put one on my back up E-Trac too). They replaced it for free at 4 years when I finally marked it with my digger in my trunk. When I removed it to send back my screen was like new underneath.

I don't hunt without it.

ZAGG sounds Great!
But for the money I have into my E-trac I want to keep it as nice as possible for as long as possible. That's why I like the
covers...I do think that the Zagg is the least thing you should do to protect your screen and for some that's enough..
