How do you mount your CZ21?

John (Ma)

I went to the beach and swinging the detector for a while and it was wearing on me.

Does anyone swing the detector as is or what do you use for mounting. Is the clip that came with the unit any good?

I had a sling chest harness but it didnt work great so I went to lowes bought a type of carpenters belt for 20 bucks it also had D rings on it and I works great and I can also throw my scoop through the d ring if I dont want to carry it. The clip that comes with the unit works fine.

Go to your local dive shop and get a weight belt, That clip is GREAT!! You can swing it all day. I hip mount my machine 100% of the time. I never use my pinpoint because I can see exactly where the beep is and associate something close to it when I dig. It really is easy and have been doing it for over 5 years that way.

If you dont like the chest mount, you can thread a dive belt through the slots and hip mount it...works very much goodly...As you can see, its made out of one of those plastic trolling motor battery boxes, the wide shape really disperses the weight, you can drill all sorts of holes and hang bags and whatnot off of it..I mainly use the dive belt threaded through the slots..

I hip mounted mine in a ammo pouch and belt. Has a flap that is open for the control access most times, but at the beach I keep it closed to help seal out sand.

John, I wear a belt that for my pants another for the unit, I can swing it all day this way, I set up the machine before I strap the belt on and the only knob I touch is the sens, sometimes I crank it to hear the whispers
