HOW DO YOU KNOW IF YOU HAVE ALOT OF MINERALS IN THE GROUND

hi everyone

got my vision a couple days ago, still learning as i only been into detecting for a couple months. i read alot about minerals in the ground, i live in south new jersey and live around alot of farms to. is there a way to tell if the ground is full of minerals, sorry if this is a crazy question but thats what i`m here for to learn. thanks everyone great forum keith
