How do you guys go about selling relics coins jewelry etc...?

I am trying to make up a game plan for selling my finds and I am just looking for some of your advice.
I have some interesting coins already and some relics. I am wary of selling to the large coin companies listed in magazines. Does anyone have experience with this. I guess my question is entwined with a question of how to get the best price for my finds. Thanks, I am enjoying reading and participating in the forum.
 
Ebay is a great place to unload what you have. Spend some time at the site getting a feel for it. Its relatively cheap to use and loads of people view your stuff.
