Went down one of my usual beaches the other day, usual stuff George V and George VI brass some other stuff and a 1940's Ceylon 10 cent eight sided coin, it was within 5ft of a Moroccan Empire 1 franc coin dated 1921 which I found last year. I would love to find out how these coins found there way onto a Cornish beach?

Some could be lost while fruitcakes like me visit your isle on digging trips! Seriously it is amazing how coins get around. Best guess is visiting sailors and such. Happy hunting!

The Foreign coins that turn up here are:
1. English
2. French
3. German
4. American ( not uncommon to dig 'wheats' here?)
