How do I post my pattern files?

I noticed that others have successfully posted links to pattern files here, for others to use. I cannot figure out how to do that. I tried to insert attachment and the file format .ptrn is not accepted. I tried a link to Photobucket and they only recognize media files. Am I missing something simple? Who can help me get it done?

That still does not work for me. I get this error message That file is not a valid attachment. Valid attachments: gif, jpg, png, jpeg
If anyone has a solution for this, I would love to learn how to do this. EZrider has done it with his beach pattern and has been kind enough to attempt to coach me on how to get it done but I'm missing something or doing something wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

Rename it to .txt

I suppose .jpg would work too, huh? Whoever downloaded it would just have to change it back to .ptrn before they loaded it into E-Trac Exchange, right? I just wish the moderators could get the software to accept .ptrn files.

Once you hit upload file you should see the above. Then a tab to chose the file. Chose the file and post it.

As it turns out, the E-Trac Forum is the only forum that will accept .ptrn (Pattern Files) or .mode (Mode Files). This is why I was so frustrated, trying to post my pattern in the E-Trac Classroom. Guvner has me straightened out on this now. This is something that I think would be kinda fun, posting pattern or mode files for others to try and we can do it easily but ONLY in the E-Trac Forum.
