How Do I Find The Open Conductive Program?!

banditicey

New member
Hello

We (the Husband and I) have been watching Video's here and Youtube on the CTX

We noticed the Open Conductive Program which was a similar program we both used on our ET's and Enjoyed

Can someone direct us to where we can find the program and where we are able to Download it on our CTXs

Thank You

I'm not familiar with the open conductive program but if you press the detect button twice, you will go to pattern 2 which is pretty much wide open.

Not sure what you mean by Open Conductive? However, if you mean conductive tones and minimal discrimination......the factory Coin program is 50 tone conductive. Pattern one has discrimination. But as Larry stated, Pattern 2 is "open", with the exception of FE line 35. HH Randy

Thank You For your Replies

I saw it labeled on the CTX on a Video on Youtube

I am unsure if I can contact the Youtube Fellow but the Program was open except more restricted on three sides

It sort of looked like Andy's Coin Program but more Open and I do use the "open" program when I hit the detect button

This Program looked Good and I thought it worth a try

Regards and HH

It is interesting to look at other folks search modes. But honestly, there aren't any magic programs. What works well for one person at one site, may be a total mess for someone else at another site. The beauty of the CTX ( as with the previous FBS models) is that you, the user, can easily build whatever discrimination pattern you want. IF you want one that is open, with restrictions on three sides, take one of the "factory programs", tweak the discrimination levels to the Pattern you want, then save it as a new program. Then, with the CTX, you can add a second Pattern to that same program, set up different parameters for the additional "functionality and design it specifically for your detector, at your sites. In fact, you can do all of that on XChange2 (and name it) before loading it into your CTX. But before discriminating out notch segments near the right hand margin, take a look at typical TID numbers (charts are available in CTX Resource Forum) to make sure you aren't discriminating out targets you want to detect.
