....We got a ton of rain here in Brown City;just a dusting of snow....but;the wind blew my grill over and re-designed it:(SO:I put it away for the winter.

We had some bad visibility up here at Houghton Lake and about a foot of snow if that. School never closes at HLHS but we picked up Casey around 10:30 am during the worst of the weather. Then it cleared up some after that.

Casey never shoveled snow before and since Mom's heart can't take the shovelling and I am not risking breaking loose any more clots Casey had to learn about shovelling. Not too bad a job for a girl who would rather listen to her headphones and stare off into space from time to time (like with each shovel of snow pushed to the side). But she did good.

I heard Betty wasn't hit too hard out her way. So - what storm was that again? Just kidding.

This is Michigan! It could be 70 degrees tomorrow!

Don't know if all have their power back or not but probably most of them have electricity and heat again. Anyway I hope so!

One of the Pine Trees beside my yard in the Common Ground has every limb broken off from top to bottom on the street side! It looks absolutely terrible but the one closest to me and in front of it only has bent branches and limbs with huge bottom ones laying on the ground and covered with ice, sleet and snow! Won't know if any are broken until everything melts and the limbs go back up....hopefully, they'll straighten up and look better!

The other storm in July had bent some of them and they were still leaning way down from it's damages! This year has been havoc on trees, homes, streets and cars! Lots of damages from both July & Dec storms! But I Praise God and Thank Jesus for protecting me and keeping me safe in all the bad weather and my family also!

God Bless!
Betty
