How deep the bounty hunter Pionner 101 can detect?

I actualy have a BH Pionner 101 and i want to know how deep it can detect and what targets? So it can detect 1 meter or less if the target is big?
Thanks!

I have one, they are great machines for the money. I guess i have hit coins at no more than 5 inches. I have hit iron deep really deep, to deep, more than i wanted to dig. found gold rings and silver, it finds anything like any other metal detector.

See how far from a car your machine can detect the car. That will give you a good idea of how far it can detect a large metal target. Also, the depth or distance is a function of the coil diameter. A 10"coil will detect coins deeper than a 4" will.

I had a like new Pioneer 202 which I imagine is similar to the 101. I picked it up at a garage sale for $20.

I played with it a little before reselling it.

Not a lot of depth, about 4" on a coin.

Even a not very deep detector will go a whole lot deeper on a big target than a coin.

The housing was less sturdy than other detectors I've used, but it was a nice little machine for the money and fun to use.

Seemed like a good cladshooter and a good starter unit for a youngster or newbie.
