Considering coil size, type of soil,,battery health, etc. how deep are you regularly getting targets? I've found the All Metal mode doesn't really have an advantage because with the threshold set low and properly the silent search mode signals on the little fluctuations anyway. Anyone using All Metal and really getting down there? And if so,how deep? And where do you have your threshold set?

I have the IDX Pro modified by Mr. Bill and I generally have the 5.3 BullsEye coil mounted. With this set-up, I have dug up 7" inch deep coins, usually Wheatys, Indians & silver dimes. On these 7"depth coins, the signal is very modulated but I can lift the coil an inch before they fade out. The other coil I use is the Pro Scan 800 an 8" coil that is good for an inch to inch and a half of added depth over the 6
