How deep is 10"x12" coil in static mode for can or bucket size?

I am also curious about this.
But the lack of response is not suprising because I doubt that anybody has tested the ATX on a can or a bucket at depth??

Soda can at 20"+... possibly could go more (stopped digging loud signals over 20" depth). Who in their right minds bury soda cans 20"+?

Joe (California)

If its aluminum and the size of a pop can the answer is way deeper than 90% of people are willing to go. I find this detector hits harder on non ferrous than ferrous, brass .22 casings can be found at 12" easily. A pop can, hope you have a backhoe, LOL.

That couple that is expected to get over $11 Million at auction for the 1,400 gold coins they found - were buried in rusted old cans.....
