How Deep have you been.

Any comment on how deep You have been on Coins ( US silver and copper pennies )

The Terra is extremely deep, maybe deeper then explorer or atleast signalling the deep coins with a better "dig me" signal that you can recognise better.

I have found that adjusting the 70 at very low treshold in prospect with no Iron mask, checking some whispers in wide open discriminate mode. Prospect whispers that stay put at 46-48 wrap from 46-48 to -8 can indeed be a 12-15" coin.Using stock 9" 7.5khz concentric.

Have I catched the fever or is something else wrong here.

I am starting to believe that there is much more coins in my hunted out spots that has provided the best finds for me and others for decades then in newly researched questionable spots. After all the best spots have been found many years ago if you re not very very lucky.

This year is going to be Iron digging unmasking deep seeking to get the coins no one else care to unmask and find. Will probably need a workout or two to keep the digging going but I feel I am on the right track, atleast for deep high conductors.

I am a coin and relic hunter. I have never used the prospect mode on the XT70 and don't own an 18.75 kHz coil. I also don't hunt in cities.
I set up with the 10.5" round 7.5kHz DD coil and use it exclusively.
Your question was on what kind of depth am I enjoying? I have without question dug old coppers at 12". I know I have dug deeper on some but it would be a guess on my part.
Relics are another thing all together. The bigger the relic the deeper you get a response from the machine.
I am not sure what you mean by the 46-48 wrap thing in prospect mode. I always thought prospect mode was a limited area of detection on you discrimination screen. Like I said, I never use it.

Hi.

I mean when I detect in prospecting mode and using the stock coil, when I get a real whisper I investigate the signal in discriminate before digging. The Terra seem to lift the deep signals here in my dirt and sometimes go over the top. bouncing between 46-48 and -8. That is a good indicator on a deeeeeep coin.

I dont think I could have found the signal in disc, i really have to force it through and sometimes kick some dirt away to make contact with the deep one.
