It's a heck of a detector, without all the bells and whistles, and checking the tests, performance almost identical, I got one and really like it/ PP= I only have one detector with PP button anyway, seems like it does all things it's supposed to do well, i guess some folks just are ashamed to admit they have a bottom of the line detector, no matter how good Charles made it, but it does fine, fits right in with my other detectors, and some cost as much as $1100.00:twodetecting::thumbup::usmc::usaflag:

Well, actually Ian from Japan has one for each of his two sons, and they go out hunting together quite often. They do post on this forum, at least once a week. Scroll back and read their posts. There are very entertaining. :)

Because most of us use the 250. Aside from the added features on the 250 the machines are identical and the 150 doesn't have to take a back seat to anything. Check out Ian's posts and the world of goodies he and his boys find with 150's.

The 150 is a good machine. There are a good few around
that have them. A few around here own both the 150 and the
250 and have compared them. As far as depth, there is not
much difference. I think many go for the 250 cuz of the
pinpointer, and the extra ID bars, etc.. It's not that much
extra dough.. But the 150 is no slouch. Like any of them,
it's a sand lot coin vac with the sniper coil slapped on it.
