How can you make the pull tabs..................

Kelley (Texas)

read as a pull tab, and not as a nickel?

I have only had the CZ-70 a few days and I am still learning how to use it. On an air test in the back yard, the pull tabs are sounding off in the "high Tone" and appearing under the "Coins" icon. How can you make them read in the "Mid Tone" and appear under the "pull tab" icon? If the pull tab is in the ground, would the results be the same? Any information would be much appreciated. Kelley (Texas) :)

Especially the ones from Pepsi cans, will read solid Nickel. Just has to do with their shape/size/mass. Try a different brand, or see if you can scavenge some older pullrings.

Another thing, is if a pulltab gets damaged, bent, or broken, that usually changes the conductivity enough to drop it to the Nickel slot. Remember that the proper order of conductivity is Iron, Foil, Nickel, Pullrings, Pulltabs, Zinc, then High Coin. FRL moved the Nickel slot over near the other coins.
