guess little Dorothy was thinking of our football and baseball teams when she said that.
I gave up on sports when baseball players went on strike. I gave up on football when some loud mouth football jock said he deserves to get paid big bucks because everytime he steps out on the football field he puts his life on the line. Police officers, firemen and others put thier lives on the line every day. Police are called crooks and criminals play sports and get away with crimes they commit. I never liked basketball since every kid where I live seems to think life is all about bouncing a basketball. Most will never be a great basketball player and push products for advertising royalties. Been to hockey games where it appeared the players were trying to bounce the puck off the walls behind me trying to smack me in the back of the head.
So as for me I don't care about any sports any more - and I used to love baseball.
