How about the 9x12 coil on the 350?

I have a chance to get one but would like to know for sure about this coil , thanks hank

The coils used on the Ace 250 can be used on the 350 but not the other way around,
at least that is what I was told by Garrett customer service.

Thanks

Hank I used that 9 by 12 coil on my 250 before I had the 350 and didn't really like it at all....the target _5 was aweful....just to large of an area to pinpoint. I just sold my 9 by 12 due to that reason....for mee the 55 and sniper works best for the 350

Thanks Andy I think I will hold off on it, by the way the 350 should be in on the 29th with all the goodies including the sniper coil , take care, hank

I bet that is a killer coil for the fields, that when you leave the hands trowels at home and break out a shovel ! Does it PP easy Chris? Thanks hank

Thanks for the info , hank

I used the 9 x 12 coil on my Ace 250 and loved it. Compared to the stock 9" coil, I got a good 2" more depth. As far as pinpointing, when I pressed the pinpoint button, I would just move the coil from side to side to get it centered in that direction, then straight back until the sound stopped, and the coin would be right under the front of the inner coil. By the way, that same method works for the stock 250 coil.

Thanks for the tip!
