How about some feedback on a CZ-20

Been looking at getting a water machine now that Gold is getting high. Talking to a guy that has a CZ 20 for $350.00.
what do You Guys think?

That's pretty cheap, I been looking too at the cz21 which is the newer version of the cz20, after reading much info most folks are happy with the basic operation but some of the cz20 have had problems with the battery cover tabs breaking (material fatigue) and O ring water leaks.

i have a cz21 and have had no prob. at all with it use it in fresh water with temps from 32 deg. up to 70 deg wadeing and scuba detecter uses both a cz21 and a cz20 and likes the cz20 better sad it hits harder on deeper targets send him a pm he will give it to u straight an he dives with it too so he can tell you and other prob. hes had

A properly working CZ-20 is an absolute pleasure to use. (I've got 3)

CZ-20's can no longer be repaired, period..............but they can be returned to FT and reworked into a CZ-21,..........but there is a $$$ cost.

So buy a CZ-20 and take a gamble or get a CZ-21.

great deal!!!!!!!! if you dont buy it i will!!!!!!!!!!

Buy it... As long as it is still waterproof. You won't regret it. I bought one and it paid for itself by the second outting.

Turn it on and make sure it works. there have been problems with the pinpoint button on the 20 sticking. I have a 8" 20 and 10" 21 which was a 20 until warranty work forced it to be a 21.

Both detectors are good, but I prefer the 20.

Had trouble with Fisher service to say the least. So try to avoid that all costs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Steve :)
