How about recovery speed vs F-75 ?? Same ballpark? or no ?

I don't think any detector is as fast as the F75

after hunting for over thirty years,if it cannot separate as well as a f-75,then all bets are off for me!..just tooo much crap around,no matter what the site to settle for anything less!...all the fancy graphs and color displays will not change the obvious!..trash is getting heavier with every passing day!

If you get good Enough and learn the vision looks like every thing is adjustable so you can make it work like any detector you want as long as you have the
knowledge of what different settings do. You are not stuck with what the factory sets it up as like most detectors you buy now. Most you can adjust the sensitivity
and the discrimination. The vision you can change every thing right down to how much power the coil is sending out and yes the recovery speed. Sounds Sweet to me.

Bar none the best for iron trash.....

Ballpark???
You are not in the same game !

I think I saw somewhere where the recovery speed is adjustable to an extent - faster and slower.
If so, to max or set it to the fastest setting, I wonder if something else is given/taken to achieve this.
The F-75 is fast for sure.

Look in the Expert menu Instruction Manual in Section 7. It tells what is to gain and lose by increasing or slowing down the Recovery delay. Recovery speed is the opposite of the DFX. Lower #'s is faster for multiple targets in trash with less accuracy and higher #'s for slower processing but more reliable ID especially at depth. Recovery Delay is found with the Filters menu.

I know of but one detector that is faster then the F-75 and it's sold in Europe known as XP GoldMaxx Power.

I like the fact that it's adjustable, then I can set it to my needs.

I'd love to see an unbiased test done with a factory program ("DE" for F75, "Coin" for Vision), then again with the Vision tuned for maximum recovery speed. Put a nail and silver dime on a board and go at it. Report the minimum distance one can hear faint silver, then the minimum distance that the units ID correctly.

If the only thing I was concerned about was as fast recovery speed as I can get, I'd probably go with a basic no frills Tesoro. I prefer to be able to adjust the recovery speed to meet the conditions. Too fast and you get a noisy unstable threshold, too slow and you get signal lag. As conditions change so does the need for a different recovery speed.

I agree.

OK, say you're in a trashy park and you want to maximize the recovery speed. How well does it recover and can it ID correctly?

anxious to see the results as well!..should be interesting!
