I used the Jolly Rogers for quite a while, back when I could really only afford a medium-priced set. They are really comfortable, and really weren't bad in sound quality. They finally developed a short in the wiring, and I used this as an opportunity to upgrade to Ratphones, which are indeed even better quality. But, I have to say, I had good luck with the Jolly Rogers while I used them. Interestingly, my son has also used them on his Minelab, and while they have worked fine in some environments, he discovered that in others, the JRs really weren't picking up certain signals. Don't know if this is something unique to the Minelab technology or to the headphones. I never had this problem, that I know of, with the MXT, though.
