House Site :hot:

Well the E-trac is still performing amazing!
I went to this old house site I got permission early this year.. When I first got permission to search the lady told me that others have in the past and I probably wouldn't find anything.. I just smiled and said ill give it a shot anyway.. The firs time I hunted the house was with the Explorer.. I found all kinds of goodies,,, Silver quarter, Indians and some neat house hold items... Lately I haven't had any luck at all there.. With the explorer or the F75 I recently purchased and sold..
Today I decided it would be great to give the E-trac a chance there... I set it up in Ferrous, 2 tone, in all metal! It worked awesome in this iron infested yard! I still dug a few nails but the good targets rang right out there! As soon as I turned the E-trac on I walked off the side of the driveway in the direction I always start in... The first target I ended up digging was a DEEP piece of iron! So I took a few more steps and got a perfect tone the repeated from all directions. I opened up the whole and stared shifting the dirt around,,, Then I got what every detectorist hopes for.. The sight of silver :yikes: I hurried up and grabbed it out of the hole,, I could clearly see the seated lady on the front as well as the date 1877! I flipped her over on her stomach looking for the a mint and about fell over when I saw CC at the bottom... My first CC coin I have found... I am super happy with it and the way the E-trac performed! I searched around a bit longer before the rain and found a wheaty I missed as well as some scrap pieces of metal thought I had cleaned out of the yard!
Ill keep you all informed with the progress of the E machine lol
Thanks for lookin guys!

to make it work well. I am loving my Explorer SePro............. and getting good results with it.

How are you doing with that F Series you picked up............

Nice work....love those old sites!!!!

All metal with ferrous tones in iron works a treat! I nearly always find coins in the iron patches on pounded sites.

Once you've gone over it with the pro-coil.... which should get 95% of the goodies. Try again with one of the smaller coils and you should pull out a few more.

I put on the coiltek Joey and find stuff the pro-coil missed, if I've done a good job with the pro-coil I'll usually only find smaller coins with the Joey (Aussie 1cent/3 pence size) that are very tightly located with iron/trash, these coins often only respond in one direction.

Oh yeah....make sure you slow that swing right down, makes a huge difference in the trash/iron with the e-trac.......let that processor do it's thing

Cheers

I know you probably will not sell it......But what's a coin like that worth anyway? (I'm not up with US stuff)

Cheers
