Hotshot

I used the hotshot on my XL pro today and it blew me away how deep it was and how well it did in trash. Not only that but it is light and covers a lot of ground. Pin pointing was a little harder but boy it could pick up a BB a eight inches. I found a couple of rings today the ground was wet but I had fun with this XL. This coil is tuned just right. I don't know if I can go back to the other big foot or stock coil!

Hi lcpm,

Pardon my ignorence but what is a Hotshot?

This super light weight "pancake coil" weighs only 2 ounces more than the standard .950 coil. It has revolutionary coil geometry which is maximized for high sensitivity and greater depth. Not only for gold nuggets but coins and relics! Field test show 3 plus inches more depth on coins

That Hot Shot coil is great! I bought the 12" HS about a month ago for my XLT and have been very impressed with it. I noticed the deeper targets are a little harder to pinpoint but I think that's just deeper targets in general. That HS was just what I was looking for to enhance the XLT. HH, Mike
